WELCOME TO LEARN TO SKATE

 

 

A REGISTERED LEARN TO SKATE USA PROGRAM

 Learn to Skate is a  program that follows the guidelines of Learn to Skate USA, Snowplow Sam 1, 2, 3 & 4. The program is designed for boys and girls ages 4-12 with little or no skating experience.  

Snowplow Sam and Basic Skating Skills are taught in a fun, activity filled atmosphere. The focus is to build confidence and teach the fundamentals of skating, while becoming comfortable on the ice.

SKATERS MUST BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE INDEPENDENTLY, PARENTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON THE ICE

  1. Sat. Morning Sessions run September-March ages 4 & up
  2. Wed. Evening Session runs July-August ages 4 & up

Cost:

  • $120 new registration including registration fee (session #1)
  • $105  re-registration (session #2)
  • $105 Summer Session

No refunds or makeups

     

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED

  •  Ice skates (rental skates are $3. per week)
  •  Hockey Helmet with a cage (any skater wearing hockey skates)
  •  Bicycle helmet (any skater wearing figure skates)
  •  Proper fitting skates with good support (skate rental $3.00)
  •  Knee pads (roller or volleyball worn underneath pants)
  •  Mittens and warm non-restrictive clothing (sweatpants/ fleece)
  • Equipment including helmets are not provided
