Future Stars-Beginner Hockey is a program designed for boys and girls ages 5-9 who have successfully completed at least two sessions of Learn to Skate

The program will focus on:

• Developing strong skating skill
• The program will build on existing skills while introducing new skills
• Introducing the fundamentals of hockey
• Increasing the confidence level of every skater
• Full equipment is required

Skaters will participate in Cross Ice Games at the end of each session beginning with Winter Session #1,  along with a Big Game (half ice games) at the end of end of Winter Session #2

Sessions are 8 weeks 

Spring Introduction to Future Stars is 4 weeks 

• Proper Fitting Skates
• Hockey Pants
• Shoulder pads
• Shin guards
• Neck guard
• Hockey stick 
• Hockey Gloves
• HECC aprroved hockey helmet w/ a cage
• All skaters receive a jerseys
• Hockey equipment is not provided
